Dr. Elizabeth Bond was born in San Diego, California, and moved to Louisville as a young child. She attended the University of Kentucky for her undergraduate and then graduated from Auburn University in 1999. She has been at Plantation Animal Clinic since she was 18 years old and joined as a veterinarian after graduation. After working 6 years as an associate veterinarian, Dr. Bond became the owner in 2006 and strives to continue the personal care that has been provided at Plantation for 36 consecutive years. In 2010, Dr. Bond was honored to be voted the Best Veterinarian in Louisville by the readers of LEO Weekly. Dr. Bond is married with two wonderful daughters, a retriever mix dog named Prince and two cats named Yoda and Bella. In her free time, she loves to practice yoga, go snow skiing, cycling, and camping with her family.
Dr. Courtney Kleinhelter was born in Owensboro, Kentucky, lived in Pennsylvania and Texas as a child, and then moved to the Louisville area in high school. She attended Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, for her undergraduate studies where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology. She graduated from veterinary school at Purdue University in 2008 and spent a year doing a small animal internship at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Kleinhelter is married and has two four-legged friends - a laid-back black lab mix named Tasha and a rambunctious, young French bulldog named Knox. She enjoys all University of Louisville athletic events, the Indianapolis Colts, reading, walking the dogs, and playing volleyball and tennis.
Dr. Baly McGill was born in Louisville, Kentucky and attended Ballard High School. She then attended Murray State University where she earned a Bachelor and Master's degree in Agriculture. In 2010, she became a member of the Plantation Animal Clinic staff and has returned during her summers to continue to build relationships with the clinic's wonderful clients. Dr. McGill graduated from veterinary school Auburn University in 2016 where she enjoyed serving as President of School Council and was an active member of the Veterinary Business Management Association. She is married and has two furbabies, an Aussie named Freckle and a Wirehaired Pointing Griffon named Widgeon. For fun she likes to ride her bike, watch UK basketball or Auburn football, and eating at different local restaurants.
